While we love being “unplugged” on the water, here’s what to expect for staying connected and handling practical needs
Wi‑Fi / Cell Service Expectations
- Onboard Wi‑Fi is optional and available at guest expense through the boat’s service or marina hotspots. Let Emily know if you would like pricing.
- Cell service is really quite good across BVI, and can be spotty in some anchorages.
- Best approach: embrace some digital downtime — it’s part of the freedom of being at sea!
Charging Options
- Boats have 12V outlets and USB ports for charging phones, cameras, and small devices.
- Power is limited, so a portable power bank is recommended.
- Pro tip: charge devices while plugged in at the marina to save battery for days at anchor.
Laundry / Showers
- Showers: Our base marina has full showers, and our boats have freshwater showers in the cockpit (just off the swim platform) and in your private head. Some of the stops we will make will have showers for you to use, we tend to take advantage of them in order to save our water supply.
- Laundry: Hand-washing quick-dry clothing works perfectly.
